First Step: Make sure to pamper cuticles and nails before applying any sort of nail polish. I like to use a nail file that has seven sides, three sides with a file and four with a buffer. This helps strengthen the nail and brings out it’s natural shine. Before using cuticle nippers, I suggest using cuticle oil in order to soften your cuticle so that the trimming will be less painful and easier.
Second Step: Put on the clear Hard as Nails nail polish to help protect your nails and also build up the strength. Putting on a clear coat can also help prevent your nails from being stained by your nail polish.
Third Step: Apply the “Sun Kissed” nail polish. Wait until it dries. This is a beautiful color which I will probably play around with later this fall.
Fourth Step: Time to create the spider web!! Make a line with the “Fashionista” glittery nail art and move it at a diagonal across your nail.
Make two lines “sprouting” out of this diagonal.
Make a half circle facing towards your hand over the three lines.
Now, paint another half circle above and repeat until you reach the top of your nail.
Fifth Step: Now is the time to create the creepy, crawly spider! Take the black nail art and put a medium sized dot on the nail to create the spider’s body. You can place your spider anywhere! Carefully paint on little legs on your spider. The legs are the most challenging part so be patient! Once you have made the spider’s body take the fine tipped nail brush and dip it in the glittery purple. Dab the purple onto the body so it creates a nice Halloween glow when you move your nails in the light!!
Sixth (and final) Step: Put the Mega Shine nail polish on top of all of your nails to create a shiny finish. Happy Halloween!!
